Method
 

  1. Begin by heating a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Once the turkey is cooked through, sprinkle the taco seasoning over the meat. Stir well to coat the turkey evenly with the spices and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  3. In a separate pan, warm the corn tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side to make them pliable.
  4. Take a warm tortilla and place a generous spoonful of the seasoned turkey in the center. Sprinkle with shredded cheese, allowing it to melt slightly.
  5. Carefully fold the tortilla over the filling and press down gently to create a 'smash' effect for the taco.
  6. Top each taco with thin slices of avocado and a spoonful of pico de gallo for a fresh finish.
  7. Place your Smash Tacos on a serving platter lined with parchment paper and serve warm.
