Ingredients
  

  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 can crushed pineapple 8-ounce, drained
  • 6 ounces pepperoni finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons minced dried onion or sliced green onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and drained crushed pineapple. Use a spatula to mix until smooth.
  2. Add the finely chopped pepperoni, minced dried onion (or sliced green onions), seasoned salt, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until evenly distributed.
  3. Lay out a piece of plastic wrap, spoon the cheese mixture onto the center, and shape it into a ball. Wrap tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  4. Once chilled, unwrap the cheese ball and roll it in the chopped toasted pecans until evenly coated.
  5. Transfer the cheese ball to a serving platter and serve with an assortment of crackers and fresh veggies.
