- Step 1: Preheat the Oven. Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: Prepare the Baking Dish. Lightly grease a baking dish with a bit of butter or cooking spray.
- Step 3: Season the Halibut. Place the halibut fillets in the baking dish and season both sides with salt, pepper, and dried dill.
- Step 4: Make the Lemon Butter Mixture. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, then remove from heat and add lemon juice.
- Step 5: Pour the Mixture Over the Fish. Carefully pour the lemon butter mixture over the seasoned halibut fillets.
