Ingredients

  • 44 oz salmon fillets skinless and boneless
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup parsley loosely packed

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Spatula
  • Measuring spoons
  • Garlic press
  • Knife and cutting board

Method

  1. Start by patting the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. This helps achieve a nice sear. Season both sides with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the salmon fillets in the skillet.
  3. Cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness of the fillets. You want a golden crust on the outside while keeping the inside tender and flaky.
  4. Once the salmon is nearly cooked through, reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Allow the butter to melt and the garlic to become fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Drizzle the lemon juice over the salmon and spoon the garlic butter sauce over the top. Cook for an additional minute to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Remove the skillet from the heat. Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the salmon for a fresh touch. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Keto Salmon!

Notes

  • Store leftover salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • To reheat, gently warm in a skillet over low heat to prevent drying out.
  • Prep garlic and parsley ahead of time to speed up cooking.
