- Step 1: Prepare the Beef - Begin by slicing the beef against the grain into thin strips. Season with salt and black pepper.
- Step 2: Heat the Oil - In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive or avocado oil over medium-high heat until hot.
- Step 3: Cook the Beef - Add the sliced beef in a single layer. Sear for 2-3 minutes, flip, and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Step 4: Sauté the Aromatics - In the same skillet, add ginger and garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Step 5: Create the Sauce - Add red pepper flakes, tamari or soy sauce, water, and brown erythritol. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Step 6: Add the Vegetables - Stir in sliced red bell pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes until tender but crisp.
- Step 7: Combine the Beef and Sauce - Return the cooked beef to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce and heat through.
- Step 8: Garnish and Serve - Serve hot, garnished with spring onions and sesame seeds. Drizzle with sesame oil if desired.
