Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter softened to room temperature
  • 1.25 cups Swerve confectioners' sugar
  • 0.5 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 3-4 tablespoons almond milk or heavy cream
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract pure

Method
 

  1. In your mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and beat it with your mixer until it’s light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Gradually add in the Swerve confectioners' sugar and cocoa powder. Mix on low speed until combined.
  3. Add in 3 tablespoons of almond milk and the vanilla extract. Continue mixing until the frosting is smooth and creamy.
  4. Sprinkle in the salt and mix until it’s evenly distributed throughout the frosting. Taste it—this is your moment to adjust the sweetness if needed.
  5. Now that your Keto Chocolate Frosting is ready, use it to frost your favorite cakes, brownies, or cupcakes.
