Method

Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Dough - If you're making your own dough, combine flour, yeast, water, and salt in a mixing bowl. Knead until smooth and elastic. Let rise for about an hour.
  2. Step 2: Preheat the Oven - Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.
  3. Step 3: Roll Out the Dough - Once risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface.
  4. Step 4: Add the Sauce - Spread pizza sauce over the rolled-out dough, leaving a border for the crust.
  5. Step 5: Layer the Cheese and Toppings - Add mozzarella slices, cherry tomatoes, basil leaves, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Step 6: Drizzle with Olive Oil - Drizzle olive oil over the pizza.
  7. Step 7: Bake the Pizza - Transfer to the preheated stone or baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes.
  8. Step 8: Add Final Touches - Cool slightly, garnish with more basil and olive oil, slice, and serve warm.
  9. Step 9: Create a Sweet Twist - Spread pesto before adding mozzarella, top with peaches and roasted red peppers, then bake.
