  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 3/4 cup Buttermilk adds moisture and tang

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure perfect rising.
  2. Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder until evenly mixed.
  3. Step 3: Cut the cold butter into the flour mixture using a pastry cutter or fork, until it resembles coarse crumbs.

  5. Step 5: Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently about 3-4 times.
