Ingredients
  

For the Blondies:
  • 113 g unsalted butter softened
  • 200 g packed brown sugar
  • 100 g granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon butter extract
  • 242 g all-purpose flour
  • 90 g sprinkles
For the Frosting:
  • 113 g unsalted butter softened
  • 226 g powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk for desired consistency
  • 45 g sprinkles plus more for topping

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Step 2: Line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Beat until light and fluffy.
  4. Step 4: Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and butter extract. Mix until well combined.
  5. Step 5: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Step 6: Gently fold in the sprinkles.
  7. Step 7: Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  8. Step 8: Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
  9. Step 9: For the frosting, beat the softened butter, gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
  10. Step 10: Once the blondies are cool, frost them and top with sprinkles.

  • You can freeze the blondies for up to 3 months.
