  • 6 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 12 Oreo cookie thins
  • 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar for dusting

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of Birch Benders Protein pancake mix, 6 tablespoons of water, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Whisk together until you have a smooth batter.
  2. Place your skillet or frying pan over medium heat and spray it with cooking spray. Allow it to heat up for a few minutes.
  3. Take your Oreo cookie thins and dip them one by one into the batter, ensuring they are fully coated.
  4. Carefully place the coated Oreos into the hot skillet. Fry them for about 1-2 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown.
  5. Once they are golden brown, use your spatula to remove the Fried Oreos from the skillet and place them on a plate lined with paper towels.
  6. Before serving, dust the Fried Oreos with confectioners' sugar for an extra touch of sweetness.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use less batter on each Oreo.
  • Experiment with different types of cookies for frying.
  • Ensure your oil is hot enough to avoid greasy Fried Oreos.
