  2. Step 2: Wash and peel the potatoes (if desired). Cut them into even sticks, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Step 3: Soak the potato sticks in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  4. Step 4: After soaking, drain the potatoes and dry them thoroughly with a clean kitchen towel.
  5. Step 5: In a large mixing bowl, combine the dried potato sticks with olive oil, salt, and any additional seasonings. Toss until evenly coated.
  6. Step 6: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the potato sticks in a single layer.
  7. Step 7: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  8. Step 8: Once baked, let them cool for a few minutes. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, soak and dry the potatoes thoroughly before baking.
