  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick), softened
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley + extra for serving
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For the Bread:
  • 1 loaf French bread (16 ounce)
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Garlic Butter - Combine the softened butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper in a medium mixing bowl. Stir until well blended.
  2. Step 2: Slice the Bread - Slice the French bread in half lengthwise, or into individual pieces if desired.
  3. Step 3: Spread the Garlic Butter - Generously spread the garlic butter mixture over both halves of the bread.
  4. Step 4: Add the Cheese - Sprinkle freshly grated parmesan cheese and then shredded mozzarella cheese over the buttered bread.
  5. Step 5: Bake in the Oven - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for about 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Step 6: Garnish and Serve - Allow to cool for a minute, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve warm.
