  • 25 oz. canned light tuna (drained)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 small onion (chopped fine)
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 avocado (sliced)
  • 1 tomato (sliced)
  • 2 boiled eggs (sliced)
  • few leaves of Romaine lettuce

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Spoon
  • Plate

Method

Preparation Steps:
  1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, minced garlic, chopped onion, and mayonnaise. Stir well to combine, making sure the tuna is evenly coated.
  2. Add salt and pepper to taste. Remember, you can always add more later, so start with a little and adjust according to your preference.
  3. Slice the avocado, tomato, and boiled eggs. Lay them out on a cutting board for easy assembly.
  4. If you prefer a crispy texture, lightly toast the slices of bread until golden brown. This step is optional but adds a nice crunch to your sandwich.
  5. On one slice of bread, layer the Romaine lettuce, followed by a generous scoop of the tuna mixture. Next, add slices of avocado, tomato, and boiled eggs. Top it with another slice of bread.
  6. Cut the sandwich in half, if desired, and serve immediately. Enjoy your Egg Avocado Tuna Sandwich with a side of fresh fruit or chips for a complete meal.

Notes

  • Use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for a lighter option.
  • Consider adding herbs like dill or parsley for extra flavor.
  • Assemble the sandwich right before serving to keep it fresh.
