Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs shelled and deveined jumbo shrimp opt for fresh if possible, thaw if frozen
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil extra virgin recommended
  • 0.25 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • 1 whole lemon juice of
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for quick roasting.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp, garlic, olive oil, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice. Toss well.
  3. Add salt and pepper to taste, ensuring shrimp are evenly coated.
  4. Spread marinated shrimp in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  6. Remove from oven, garnish with parsley, and serve with extra lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Use wild-caught shrimp for best flavor.
  • Add smoked paprika for a twist.
