In a mixing bowl, combine the very well-softened cream cheese with 3/4 cup of the grated mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup of the finely grated Parmesan cheese. Use a spatula to mix until smooth and creamy.
Spread the pizza sauce over the cheese mixture in the bowl. Stir gently to incorporate the sauce into the cheese.
Transfer the cheesy mixture to a pie dish or baking pan, spreading it evenly. Top with the remaining 3/4 cup of mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese.
Place the pepperoni slices on top of the cheese layer, covering the surface of the dip.
Bake the dip in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
