Ingredients
  

For the Rolls:
  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough (such as Annie's or Pillsbury)
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar (not packed, 45g)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 2 - 4 tsp milk
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Open the tube of refrigerated crescent roll dough and unroll it onto a clean surface.
  3. Spread the melted butter over the entire surface of the dough.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the ground cinnamon and light brown sugar, then sprinkle this mixture over the buttered dough.
  5. Starting from one long edge, roll the dough up into a tight log.
  6. Slice the rolled dough into approximately 1-inch thick pieces.
  7. Place the sliced rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a bowl for icing.
  10. Drizzle the icing over the tops of the rolls and serve warm.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
  • Wrap tightly and refrigerate for up to a week.
  • Freeze individually wrapped for up to 3 months.
