Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup pickles sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spatula
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Cutting board and knife
  • Serving plates

Method

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Sprinkle in the onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Use a spatula to break the meat into small pieces as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, yellow mustard, and ketchup. Stir until well blended. This creamy sauce is what brings the entire wrap together.
  3. Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. In the center, place a generous scoop of the cooked beef. Top with shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, and sliced pickles. Drizzle some of the special sauce over the top.
  4. Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll it tightly from the bottom up to enclose all the fillings. Make sure it’s secured well to avoid spillage.
  5. Place the wraps seam-side down on a serving plate. You can serve them immediately or refrigerate for later. If serving right away, consider slicing them in half for easier handling.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the meat: Ground turkey or chicken can be substituted for a leaner option.
  • Experiment with different cheeses: Pepper jack or mozzarella can add a unique twist.
  • Add some heat: A sprinkle of cayenne or diced jalapeños can spice things up.
  • Make it veggie: Replace the meat with black beans or lentils for a delicious vegetarian option.
