Delicious Amarula tiramisu

  • 250 ml fresh cream
  • 250 g mascarpone cheese
  • 80 ml castor sugar
  • 80 ml Amarula Vanilla Spice
  • 200 ml prepared strong black coffee
  • 50 ml Amarula Vanilla spice
  • 200 g savoiardi light finger biscuits or Boudoir
  • 50-70 g quality dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa) grated

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Brew your strong black coffee and allow it to cool. Once cooled, mix in 50ml of Amarula Vanilla Spice and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, pour in the fresh cream and whip it using an electric mixer until it reaches soft peaks.
  3. In another bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese and castor sugar. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture using a spatula.
  5. Quickly dip each savoiardi biscuit into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy. Layer the biscuits at the bottom of your dish.
  6. Spread half of the mascarpone and cream mixture over the layer of dipped biscuits.
  7. Repeat the dipping process with the remaining biscuits and layer them over the cream mixture. Top with the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  8. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for the best flavor.
  9. Before serving, grate quality dark chocolate over the top of your Delicious Amarula tiramisu.

Notes

  • For a stronger Amarula flavor, increase the amount of Amarula in the cream mixture and coffee.
  • Choosing high-quality dark chocolate will enhance the flavor of the dessert.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days in an airtight container.
