  • 3 pounds chicken wings Fresh or frozen, thawed before cooking
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce divided
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar Adds sweetness

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika Infuses smokiness

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Start by rinsing your chicken wings under cold water. Pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, sea salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, onion powder, and ground oregano. Stir until well blended.
  3. Take the chicken wings and sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over them. Toss the wings until they are well coated.
  4. Pour half of the BBQ sauce over the seasoned wings, ensuring they are thoroughly coated.
  5. Transfer the wings to the Crock Pot. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Once cooked, remove the wings from the Crock Pot and place them on a baking sheet. Brush the remaining BBQ sauce over them.
  7. For crispy skin, preheat your oven’s broiler. Broil the wings for about 3-5 minutes until they reach your desired crispiness.
  8. Serve your Crock Pot Chicken Wings hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
