Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk (I used oat)
  • 1 Medjool date (pitted)
  • 2 teaspoons raw cashew butter
  • 2 teaspoons coconut butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla powder
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 cup diced frozen pear
  • 2 teaspoons cacao nibs , plus extra for garnish

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring spoons
  • Glass or cup
  • Spoon

Method

Method
  1. Step 1: Gather Ingredients - Start by measuring out all your ingredients. Having everything ready to go will make blending a breeze.
  2. Step 2: Blend the Base - In your blender, combine the unsweetened oat milk, pitted Medjool date, raw cashew butter, coconut butter, vanilla powder, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  3. Step 3: Add Frozen Pear - Once the base is blended, add the diced frozen pear to the blender. Blend again until everything is well incorporated and the mixture is silky smooth.
  4. Step 4: Incorporate Cacao Nibs - Add the cacao nibs to the blender and pulse a few times. You want the nibs to be mixed in without completely blending them, allowing for that delightful crunch in every sip.
  5. Step 5: Taste and Adjust - Give your smoothie a taste! If you prefer it sweeter, you can add an extra date or a splash of maple syrup. Blend again if you add anything.
  6. Step 6: Serve and Garnish - Pour your Creamy Vanilla Chip Smoothie into a glass or cup. Garnish with extra cacao nibs on top for a touch of elegance and added texture.

Notes

  • For a thicker smoothie, add more frozen fruit.
  • Use almond or peanut butter for a different flavor.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
