Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 cup spinach chopped
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes drained

Equipment

  • Medium saucepan
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Sharp knife
  • Grater

Method

  1. Gather all your ingredients and chop the spinach and sun-dried tomatoes. Having everything ready will streamline the cooking process.
  2. Place a medium saucepan over medium heat. Allow it to warm up for a minute or two.
  3. Pour in the 1/2 cup of chicken broth and bring it to a gentle simmer. This will form the base of your sauce and infuse it with flavor.
  4. Once the broth is simmering, add the 1 cup of heavy cream. Stir well to combine and let it cook for about 2 minutes, allowing the mixture to thicken slightly.
  5. Add the 1 teaspoon of garlic powder and 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning. Stir to combine, and let the flavors meld for another minute.
  6. Gradually add the 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until it melts and the sauce becomes creamy. Then, fold in the chopped spinach and sun-dried tomatoes. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the spinach is wilted and everything is well combined.
  7. Taste your Creamy Tuscan Garlic Sauce and adjust the seasoning if necessary. You can add salt, pepper, or more Italian seasoning based on your preference.
  8. Your sauce is now ready to be served! Drizzle it over pasta, chicken, or use it as a dip for bread. Enjoy the creamy, garlicky goodness!
