Ingredients
  

For the Dressing:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 medium clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh tarragon
  • 1 teaspoon anchovy paste optional

Method:
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, add the mayonnaise and buttermilk. Whisk them together until well combined and creamy.
  2. Next, add in the grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped fresh parsley, lemon juice, and black pepper. If using anchovy paste, include that as well.
  3. Continue to whisk the mixture until all the ingredients are thoroughly incorporated and you achieve a smooth consistency.
  4. Give the dressing a taste. Adjust flavors with more salt, pepper, or Parmesan cheese if desired.
  5. Transfer the dressing to your storage container and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • Whisk in extra buttermilk if the dressing thickens after chilling.
  • Customize the herbs to your taste for a personal touch.
