- In a medium mixing bowl, add the mayonnaise and buttermilk. Whisk them together until well combined and creamy.
- Next, add in the grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped fresh parsley, lemon juice, and black pepper. If using anchovy paste, include that as well.
- Continue to whisk the mixture until all the ingredients are thoroughly incorporated and you achieve a smooth consistency.
- Give the dressing a taste. Adjust flavors with more salt, pepper, or Parmesan cheese if desired.
- Transfer the dressing to your storage container and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
