Ingredients

  • 1 package cream cheese softened (8-ounce)
  • 1 can crescent dough (8-ounce)
  • 1 can diced jalapenos (4-ounce)
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Rolling Pin
  • Knife or pizza cutter

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, diced jalapenos, and granulated sugar until well blended.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough on a clean surface and flatten it with a rolling pin to create an even rectangle.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a half-inch border around the edges.
  5. Starting from one end, roll the dough into a tight log and pinch the seam to seal it.
  6. Slice the rolled dough into 1-inch thick pinwheels, yielding about 12 to 16 pinwheels.
  7. Place the pinwheels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let the pinwheels cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!

Notes

  • Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • Space out the pinwheels on the baking sheet to allow for expansion.
  • Allow the pinwheels to cool slightly before serving to maintain their shape.
