  • 2 tbsp Dutch cocoa powder or unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 10 oz chocolate chips or sugar-free chocolate chips
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp sweetener of choice adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract (optional)

Method
 

Directions:
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Avocado - Start by mashing the avocados until they are smooth.
  2. Step 2: Melt the Chocolate - In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second increments, stirring until fully melted.
  3. Step 3: Blend the Filling - In the food processor, combine the mashed avocado, melted chocolate, cocoa powder, sweetener, salt, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
  4. Step 4: Prepare the Crust (Optional) - Make a simple crust using crushed nuts and dates or graham crackers, or serve the filling as crustless.
  5. Step 5: Assemble the Pie - Pour the chocolate avocado filling into the pie dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Step 6: Chill - Cover the pie with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours.
