Ingredients
  

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup butter unsalted
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups dark chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line your 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat and let it cool slightly.
  4. Whisk together the melted butter, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
  6. Sift together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder in another bowl.
  7. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  8. Fold in the dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  10. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  11. Let the brownies cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then lift out and cool completely on a rack.
  12. Cut into squares and enjoy!

Notes

  • For gluten-free, substitute all-purpose flour with gluten-free flour blend.
  • For dairy-free, use vegan butter or coconut oil instead of regular butter.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
