Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder for a hint of warmth and depth.
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt to enhance flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper for a touch of spice.
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts the star of the dish, tender and juicy.
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese divided, for that melty, gooey goodness.
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese divided, adds a nutty flavor that complements the dish.
  • 1 cup creamy Caesar dressing the key ingredient that ties everything together.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice from ½ lemon, for a fresh, zesty finish.

Equipment

  • Large Baking Dish
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Whisk
  • Oven mitts

Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This will ensure that your chicken cooks evenly and gets that lovely golden color.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chili powder, kosher salt, and ground black pepper. Rub this spice mixture all over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are evenly coated for maximum flavor.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in a large baking dish, ensuring they are spaced apart for even cooking.
  4. Pour the creamy Caesar dressing over the chicken, making sure each piece is well-coated. This will infuse the chicken with flavor as it bakes.
  5. Sprinkle 1 cup of the shredded mozzarella cheese and ¼ cup of the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the chicken and dressing. This cheese layer will melt beautifully and create a delightful crust.
  6. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  7. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the oven and drizzle the lemon juice over the top. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top and return to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Remove the Caesar Chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. This dish pairs wonderfully with a fresh salad or roasted vegetables. Enjoy your flavorful creation!

Notes

  • Opt for high-quality Caesar dressing for the best flavor. Homemade dressing can take this dish to the next level.
  • Ensure your chicken breasts are of good quality; organic or free-range options are often more flavorful.
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese melts better than pre-grated, so if possible, grate it yourself.
