Ingredients
  

For the Brownie Base:
  • 1 batch 1-Pan Brownies baked in a 9x13 inch pan
  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips Guittard or Ghirardelli for best flavor
  • to taste chocolate sprinkles optional, for decoration

Equipment

  • 9x13-inch baking pan
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Double boiler or microwave-safe bowl
  • Cookie scoop or tablespoon
  • Parchment paper

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare your 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper. Mix your brownie batter and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let cool completely.
  2. Step 2: Once cooled, crumble the brownies into a large mixing bowl into small pieces, keeping some small chunks for texture.
  3. Step 3: Melt the chocolate chips using a double boiler or microwave. Stir until smooth.
  4. Step 4: Pour the melted chocolate over the crumbled brownies and mix until well combined.
  5. Step 5: Scoop portions of the mixture and roll into 1-inch balls. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Step 6: Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  7. Step 7: For an optional coating, melt more chocolate and dip each truffle, rolling in sprinkles if desired. Return to the sheet to set.
  8. Step 8: Once set, serve and enjoy your Brownie Truffles!

Notes

  • Store truffles in an airtight container for up to five days.
  • For longer storage, freeze for up to three months.
