Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4-3.9 ounce)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the instant vanilla pudding mix, mixing until fully integrated.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add to the wet ingredients.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
