Ingredients
  

For the Topping:
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 1/4 cup butter softened
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon celery salt
For the Fish:
  • 2 pounds tilapia fillets

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Step 2: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Parmesan cheese, dried parsley, ground black pepper, garlic salt, onion powder, and celery salt. Mix well until creamy.
  3. Step 3: Place tilapia fillets on a greased baking sheet, spread out evenly.
  4. Step 4: Generously spread the topping mixture over each tilapia fillet.
  5. Step 5: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the tilapia is cooked through and the topping is golden brown.
  6. Step 6: Let cool for a few minutes, then serve hot, garnished with parsley or lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor.
  • Adjust spices to your taste; add more garlic if desired!
  • Other white fish like cod can be substituted if tilapia is unavailable.
