  • 3 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 2 pieces lightly beaten room-temperature eggs

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Prepare the Chicken - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Step 2: Marinate in Buttermilk - In a bowl, mix buttermilk with salt and pepper. Add chicken pieces and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Step 3: Prepare the Breading Station - Set up bowls for flour, the breadcrumb mixture, and beaten eggs.
  4. Step 4: Bread the Chicken - Coat chicken pieces in flour, dip in eggs, then roll in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Step 5: Arrange and Bake - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the breaded nuggets. Drizzle with melted butter.
  6. Step 6: Bake to Perfection - Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Flip halfway for even browning.
