Ingredients
  

  • 6 pieces skin-on chicken legs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Start by rinsing the chicken legs under cold water and patting them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, coriander, turmeric, kosher salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Add the chicken legs to the bowl and toss them in the spice mixture until they are evenly coated.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Place the seasoned chicken legs in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook the chicken legs at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.
  7. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the chicken legs. They should reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  8. Once cooked, let the chicken legs rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can marinate the chicken legs in the spice mixture up to 24 hours in advance.
  • Cooked chicken legs can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For longer storage, freeze the cooked chicken legs in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months.
