Ingredients
  

For the Macaroons:
  • 14 ounces sweetened, flaked coconut
  • 3 large egg whites room temperature
  • 1/3 cup Sugar In The Raw Organic White
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate for dipping (optional)

Method
 

Directions:
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Step 2: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Step 3: In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg whites until they form soft peaks.
  4. Step 4: Gently fold in the sweetened coconut, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt into the whipped egg whites.
  5. Step 5: Using a spoon or a cookie scoop, drop tablespoon-sized portions onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Step 6: Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Step 7: Let the macaroons cool before dipping in melted chocolate (if using).
