  • 1 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil for drizzling
  • 1 piece 8-inch whole wheat or flour tortilla
  • 1/3 cup chopped mixed fresh herbs a mix of basil, oregano, and thyme
  • 1/2 cup canned San Marzano tomatoes crushed
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup marinated artichoke hearts
  • to taste Kosher salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 4 slices pepperoni
  • 1 ball burrata cheese or 1/3 cup torn mozzarella
  • 1-2 handfuls baby arugula
  • to taste crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon chili paste like sambal oelek

Method:
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for a crispy tortilla crust.
  2. Step 2: Place the tortilla on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Step 3: Spread the crushed tomatoes over the tortilla, leaving a border.
  4. Step 4: Season the sauce with kosher salt and black pepper.
  5. Step 5: Layer with provolone cheese, marinated artichokes, and pepperoni.
  6. Step 6: Bake for 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are golden.
  7. Step 7: In a small saucepan, combine honey and chili paste over low heat until warm.
  8. Step 8: Remove pizza, add burrata and arugula, then drizzle with hot honey.
  9. Step 9: Slice and serve immediately. Enjoy!
